4th of July – Breakfast Gift

I’ve mentioned before how much I love Pinterest.  This past week I went through some of my pin boards to find some inspiration for a 4th of July hospitality gift.  After I found my inspiration, I placed the items I needed on my grocery list and headed to the store. For just 3 dollars worth of supplies and using ingredients I had on hand, I was able to make a little gift for our friends.

If you are going over to someone’s house for 4th of July, I hope this gift idea inspires you to make one for your family or friends!  After a late night watching fire works on Wednesday, come Thursday morning your family or friends might loving having this gift from you for their breakfast.

  • 1 Loaf of blueberry bread (you can buy a store bought loaf also if you don’t have time to make one)
  • 1 kitchen towel
  • 1 bread pan
  • 1 spatula or knife
  • Ribbon

I was able to purchase the towel, bread pan and spatula from the dollar store.  Surprisingly, the spatula and bread pan were made my Betty Crocker.  I’m always amazed at how I can find brand name items in the dollar store.  It makes me keep shopping there to see what I can find! :)

What are your favorite hospitality items to take to a friends house?
