Gratituesday ~ Bread of Life

The house is quiet and no one is awake yet. I quietly pour a cup of coffee, toast a piece of bread and walk down to our office.  Yes, this time of day is precious to me.  I love this quiet time to read God’s word and pray about it.  This particular time of day I’m very grateful for.  Because its from His word that I learn God’s character to be a woman who: loves her husband, her son, her family and her friends – to the ability that only God could provide knowledge, wisdom and strength for. I love morning time! A time to relax and prepare my heart for the day ahead.

The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease.  Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.

Lamentations 3:22-23

  1. I love this. I am a nightowl, but I do love when I wake extra-early. I’d love to switch to a very early morning person. It gives me a wonderful start on my day and it is the best time for prayer. Thank you for a lovely Gratituesday, Tabitha!

    • I’ve had all different seasons of my adulthood. Sometimes I’ve had to stay up late or wake up early. It really was dependent on whether I was working night shift or day shift. But since I had my little man, I’ve learned how precious the first 2 hours of my day is before he wakes. I feel ready for the day if I’m up before him. But this is totally what works well for me. :) I’m really glad this little gratituesday blessed you my friend! I’m glad you can be a night owl too. Finding that time of day that works well for you at is very important!
Waking up early isn’t a one size fits all. Everyone does their best at different times. If its past nine pm, I’m no use! :)
