Father’s Day Plan

My husband reads my blog every time I post. I love having him read my posts that way I can have his feedback. :-) But this week, I asked him not to read my blog this week. That way I can share with you all today what my Lttle buddy and I are doing for him for Father’s Day. My husband is hard worker and he really deserves a day that he can be pampered and spoiled. I’ve come up with a few things that my Little Buddy and I are going to do each day this week in preparation for next Sunday.

Here is how I planned.

Goal: Have a fun and enjoyable day planned for Father’s Day.

Bite Size Pieces:

  • Last week I searched Pinterest to see what ideas were out there and created a Father’s Day Pin Board.
  • I chose ideas that would take less then 30 minutes per day to do.
  • I looked for ideas that offered free printable materials.
  • Next, I set a small budget of $20.
  • Made a plan (listed below).
  • Then I created a shopping list: decorative card stock, mailbox and Oreo cookies.

Daily things to do to get ready for Fathers Day

Decorations: Cut out printables and make Father’s Day Banner.  I’m going to put this up today and leave it up all week.  It will be Father’s Day all week. :)

Father’s Day Card: last week we did some finger painting, so this week we will create a Father’s Day card using the above inspiration.

Gift: For his gift, I purchased this Mailbox from Amazon.  We are going to decorate it and put the Father’s Day card we make inside of it.  Weekly we will use this mailbox for putting little messages in it for my husband from Little Buddy. :)

Wrap the gift: Using wrapping paper I have on hand and a tie from my husbands closet, we will wrap his gift like this. :)

Menu: we will make menu door hanger.

Dessert: I’ve been wanting to do this for awhile after seeing it on Pinterest. We will make cookies and cream ice-cream. My husband’s favorite! :)

Note: This was edible finger paint, I”ll be sharing the recipe with you all on Wednesday.

Celebrate Dad’s day by making his favorite food and play all day. :)

This is what we are planning on doing for Father’s day.  What idea’s do you have planned, I’d love to hear your ideas!
