Halloween Inspired Menu for the Week of October 29th, 2012

Happy Monday to you all my friends!

After a very busy two weeks of traveling, I’m still working on getting back into a normal routine around here.  I’m hoping even with bad weather coming we will be able to still have some fun food planned for this week. Here is our tentative Halloween inspired menu plan.

Breakfasts

  • Pumpkin cheese muffins, fruit and hard boiled eggs x 2
  • French toast and fruit
  • Yogurt, blueberry muffins and fruit x 2
  • Oatmeal and fruit x 2 f

Lunch

Dinner

  • Penne Pasta and Meatballs
  • Chicken Tamale Casserole
  • Tuna Casserole
  • Tacos
  • Hamburgers
  • Spicy Bat Wings and Bug Salad
  • Homemade Pizza

Snacks

  • Green Monster Smoothies
  • Cinnamon Apples

Friday Night Dessert

  • Homemade Pumpkin Cheesecake  ice cream (recipe coming soon!)

  3. I’m visiting from Organized Junkie’s Menu Plan Monday today.
    My faithful waffle maker of 16 years died last night! It was a wedding gift so I think that’s why my husband and I are upset. Now it’s time to shop for another one that will last another 16 years!
    Looks like there’s going to be some amazing meals this week.

    • Thanks for stopping by Jamie! It was a cute idea I found on Pinterest. I was thinking though for the holidays you could make a christmas tree or acorn by “carving” a tortilla. I’m going to try it and see how it works. :)
