Lets Make a Carrot!

Happy Wednesday!  It’s just a few days before Easter and if you are looking for a fun and easy Easter basket filler, today I have a tutorial for you!

I saw something like this last week and had to try it!  I made this yesterday in under 10 minutes.  And with only a few necessary supplies, you’ll hardly spend money or time!

Here is what you need to make one carrot:

  • 1/2 cup Annie’s Homegrown Organic Cheddar Bunnies (These are on sale at Target this week for $2.25 a box for the 7.5 oz package.)
  • 1 Sandwich Bag
  • 4 – 1/4 inch green ribbon cut into 6 inch pieces (used some left over ribbon from Christmas.  Look and see what you have any color green would work!)
  • Scissors

Place 1/2 cup of cheddar bunnies into the corner of the sandwich bag.

Shape into a “carrot” and tie off (double knot) with one piece of ribbon.

Next cut down the sandwich bag, like this. Then, add remaining 3 pieces of ribbon.

Lastly, cut a the tip of the ribbon diagonally.

There you have it, an easy Easter basket filler!

  1. What a cute idea! We love the Annie’s bunnies as a quick snack when we don’t have time to make one from scratch and fresh fruit or veggies might be too messy (like homeschool co-op days. :))

    • Thank you Brandi! I just bought them for the first time this week and my son loves them! He is 16 months and so he now points to the cabinet wanting more. :) It’s so cute!
