On the Menu for January 7, 2013
It’s Monday once again and the first menu of the New Year!
I don’t have a ton of slow cooker recipes that I can just rave about, I can name about a handful that I’d make over and over again. But our newest favorite is lasagna. I thought surely the noodles would be hard and it wouldn’t be nearly as good as being baked but I was wrong.
Although, I would avoid using the lasagna noodles that don’t need to be boiled before. Regular lasagna noodles is what you want, otherwise you get a little bit of a soggy lasagna. Please learn from me!
This week I’ll be sharing kitchen organization tips, a breakfast recipe and my list of homemade items I want to make in 2013! So make sure you come back by this week!
Anyways, I hope you have a fabulous week and here is our menu! Enjoy! I’d love to hear what your favorite crock pot recipe is also, share in the comments today!

Looks delicious, Tabitha! I’m trying a few new slow cooker recipes this week, too. I hope they turn out. Seems about 50% of them work for me and the other 50% are bleeeeh.
Have a great week!

Yes, I agree. I wonder if I need to play with the temp and length of time the food cooks compared to the actual recipe. Quite a few recipes I’ve made the meat comes out try or doesn’t as much flavor. Let me know how your recipes turn out.
