On the Menu for the Week of August 20, 2012

Hi Friends! How was your weekend? We really couldn’t have asked for a nicer weekend.

I spent all day outside on Saturday. We ate breakfast outside, grilled tuna melts on the the barbeque and ate dinner at the county fair. Although, I have to say the fair food was not my favorite, but over all Saturday was an amazing day.

Sunday was a comfy cozy day. A nice steady rain joined us after we got home from church and the sweet smell marinara sauce cooking in the crock pot filled the house. I tried a new fabulous recipe from my friend Beth and made homemade ricotta.

My two favorite people, I just love hanging out with. I mean, who wouldn’t want to hang out with them, they are so much fun! It was a weekend full of great food (except the fair), great friends, and sweet last days of summer!

It is Monday and we are off to another full week ahead, but to keep us organized: here is our menu! Have a great week Friends!

Your menu sounds delicious. My family loves stuffed shells. I haven’t made them in a long time.

    • Thanks for stopping by each Monday Rona! I loved the stuffed shells recipe we made, it was even more meaningful because my good friend shared with me her grandma’s recipe! I’ll be making it again for sure!!
