Our Menu for the Week of September 17th
Earlier this year when I started this little blogging adventure, I had no idea how much joy it would bring me! I’ve been challenged, motivated and I have met many amazing friends so far!
Menu planning has been one of those challenges this year. I’ve had to develop a routine and learn to make it fun! And although, I love knowing what to cook each day, it takes bit of time and strategy to make it work well. At least it does for me! 😉 Writing it out each week helps me stay creative and challenges me to really tailor our menu to what my family enjoys!
When it comes to actually preparing meals I find freezer cooking to be very helpful also. The last two weeks I’ve been really motivated to try more freezer cooking recipes. Recently, I tried a freezer cooking session from Kojo Designs and found their recipes very helpful. If you are in a busy season of life right now, check out their post! It’s time saving and their recipes are delicious! I find that when I spend just 1 to 2 hours a week preparing for the week ahead, it makes everything so much easier once Monday comes around again. Even being a stay-at-home mom of one, I find the strategy of freezer cooking to be essential. It helps me spend more with my family and friends. Also I can dedicate time to writing to you all each week – which is very important to me.
Well friends, I’m glad that you stop by each to week to check out our menu, it’s a joy to have you here! Have a very lovely week!
