Pre-heat oven to 350
1 lb Venison (1 lb ground beef)
1/2 tsp Cumin
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder (or 2 garlic gloves minced)
1-2 Jalapeno peppers, seeded and diced
1 cup of shredded cheese
In a medium size bowl add all ingredients to ground venison. Mix thoroughly together and form patties. This recipe will make 4 to 6 burgers depending on the size you would like.
Place burgers on lined cookie sheet and place in oven for 25 minutes. You can easily cook them on the stove or grill instead of the oven if you would like.
