Last weekend we took a family trip to the mountains and rented a cozy 2 bedroom cabin. The three days we stayed there went by way too fast. We watched movies, went 4 wheel driving, played in the snow and walked through the village eating ice cream. Originally, we were going to stay 2 nights, but after the first night we just had to stay the whole weekend. It was very relaxing, even with a toddler! But before we left for our weekend adventure, knowing that the cabin had a kitchen, I planned a quick and easy menu.
Here are the new recipes I tried: 3 Cheese Chicken Pasta and Banana Pudding . These recipes will definitely be added to the my “keeper list!”
WOW, thats a lot of food! What was I thinking?! But I have to say after spending roughly 45 minutes (menu planning, shopping my pantry and packing it all up) it was totally worth it! All of this would have gone bad if we left it behind.

Even though the bacon wrapped bbq chicken (that my husband made) was awesome, this was our top moment for the weekend! Our sweet Little Buddy playing in the snow for the first time. He loved playing with it in his hands and of course eating it!
Here is my sweet family. I just love these guys. I am so thankful for them!
